Run monthly billing for Instacart's retail partners, from invoice creation to credit memos and month-end close. Remote from most US states.
About the Role
Instacart is hiring a Billing Operations Associate to manage the full billing cycle for its retail partners. You will make sure invoices are accurate, month-end close happens on time, and financial controls are followed.
What You Will Do
- Calculate, generate, and send monthly invoices by email and partner portals such as Ariba
- Process credit memos, debit memos, and refunds
- Build and update Oracle workbooks for new and amended contracts
- Review commercial contracts to identify billing requirements
- Peer-review invoice calculations for accuracy
- Answer billing inquiries, escalate disputes, and support audit requests
What You Need
- 2+ years in billing operations, accounts receivable, or order-to-cash, ideally in tech or SaaS
- Understanding of invoicing, ERP workflows, and AR basics
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Familiarity with Oracle (or similar ERP) and Salesforce (or similar CRM)
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication
Location & Pay
Remote from any US state except California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington. Base pay is $28.37 to $32.94/hour depending on state.
