Job Description:
Fully remote job taking customer calls about car and home insurance at Jerry. No experience required, and Jerry pays for your insurance license. $19 to $21/hour, plus commission on the sales path.
About the Role
Jerry is hiring Customer Experience Advocates for its fully remote Customer Operations team. You will help customers shop and manage auto, home, and other insurance policies, on either a sales path or a service path that is decided with you during interviews.
What You Will Do
- Answer inbound calls from customers shopping for auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies
- Help policyholders make changes and process service requests (vehicles, drivers, lienholders, documents)
- Learn the product and the 50+ insurance companies Jerry works with
- Spot coverage gaps and discounts that customers may not know about
- Share customer feedback to help improve the app
What You Need
- Prior customer service, sales, or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
- A friendly, positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to earn a P&C insurance license (Jerry pays for it)
- Residence in one of the eligible states
Location & Pay
Fully remote with equipment provided. Hourly employees must live in AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, or VA. Pay is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour (the sales path adds uncapped commission). Choose a 5-day, 8-hour or 4-day, 10-hour week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid vacation, and stock options.
