About the Role

Outschool is hiring multiple Customer Support Representatives to support parents, teachers, and learners across its online education platform. In this role, you’ll become an expert in how Outschool works and provide high-quality support primarily through chat and email.

This is a great opportunity for strong communicators who enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and helping families have a smooth, positive learning experience.

What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality customer support to parents and teachers via chat and email
• Resolve customer questions with empathy, clarity, and sound judgment
• Investigate and handle complex or sensitive support issues
• Escalate issues internally when appropriate
• Follow established workflows while adapting to new tools, products, and policies
• Assist with additional customer experience (CX) tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong written communication skills
• Customer-first mindset with attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions within guidelines
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience in K–12 education
• Startup experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with escalated support or QA
• Technical aptitude or experience supporting software platforms

Hours & Pay

• 35–40 hours per week
• $20–$25 per hour
• Flexible weekday schedule within U.S. daytime hours
• Includes one weekend day
