About the Role
1-800 Contacts is hiring remote Digital Sales and Service Representatives. You will help customers by chat and email, consult on contact lens purchases, and deliver world-class service in a fast-paced virtual contact center.
What You Will Do
- Answer 2-3 incoming customer chats at once on the NICE CXOne platform (about 40 chats per 8-hour shift)
- Consult customers on the best value for their contact lens purchases
- Reply to incoming emails or MMS as business needs require
- Request prescriptions by phone from eye care providers when needed
- Meet performance metrics for revenue per chat, quality, availability, and timeliness
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years minimum customer service experience (chat sales and contact center experience a plus)
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM and strong technical proficiency
- Reliable internet of at least 20 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up
- A private, dedicated workspace free from interruption
Location & Pay
Fully remote. Permanent residence must be in Utah, North Carolina, or Texas. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Start date: November 2, 2026. Starting base pay is $15.00 per hour with bonus potential of up to $6 per hour (posted range $15-$21). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and contact lens discounts.
