About the Role
Ultimate Medical Academy is hiring a full-time remote Learner Services Advisor to guide and support online students through their allied health programs. UMA lists this as an entry-level position: work is supervised, and the only experience listed is preferred, not required.
What You Will Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for learners' non-academic questions and concerns by voice, text, and video
- Help learners navigate courses, academic policies, and course expectations
- Identify at-risk learners and help with retention efforts so students stay on track
- Work toward individual, team, and department retention goals
- Collaborate with teammates on camera and in digital workspaces and virtual events
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Clear, professional spoken and written English
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new tools
- Preferred, not required: 1+ year in customer service, a contact center, or hospitality
- A quiet home office, the ability to be on camera, and a wired high-speed internet connection
Location & Pay
Full-time remote position. Pay $19 per hour. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, 401(k), 15 PTO days in year one, 9 holidays, and pet insurance.
