Temporary part-time remote role answering member calls for Foodsmart, a telenutrition company. About 29 hours a week, up to 6 months. Pays $20.68 to $24/hour.
About the Role
Foodsmart is hiring a temporary part-time Member Support Representative. You will give live support to members with questions about services, eligibility, appointments, platform access, and food benefits, and help with technical troubleshooting and provider coordination.
What You Will Do
- Be the first point of contact for inbound member calls
- Run real-time eligibility checks and explain benefits clearly
- Match members with a dietitian and book appointment times
- Help members troubleshoot platform and account issues
- Document interactions and keep member records accurate
What You Need
- 1+ year in a work-from-home or hybrid call center (highly preferred)
- Experience handling sensitive information (PII/PHI) and a basic understanding of HIPAA
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Availability 9 AM-5 PM PT, Monday-Friday
- Internet of about 100 Mbps down / 20 Mbps up and a private, quiet workspace
Location & Pay
Remote in the US. Temporary part-time role of about 29 hours a week, expected to last up to 6 months, Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM PT. Includes time off but not health insurance. Pay is $20.68 to $24.00 per hour.
