About the Role
WEX is hiring a remote Recovery Agent to manage a portfolio of moderately complex past-due commercial accounts, negotiate payment arrangements within guidelines, and keep collections documentation accurate and compliant.
What You Will Do
- Handle inbound and outbound phone and email with delinquent commercial customers
- Negotiate routine payment arrangements within defined authority
- Document touchpoints and promises in the collections system of record
- Route billing errors and disputes to Billing, Sales, or other teams and track clearance
- Follow FDCPA and internal credit policies while meeting volume and cure-rate goals
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent with about 2-3 years of high-volume B2B or commercial collections
- Foundational understanding of FDCPA or similar collections compliance
- Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills
- Comfort learning enterprise applications; background investigation required
- Preferred: some college and familiarity with Salesforce, PeopleSoft, or Genesys
