Day-to-Day Breakdown:

During Training:

  • Shadow experienced IT specialists to understand real-world scenarios and solutions.
  • Participate in mock troubleshooting exercises to apply theoretical knowledge.

When On Your Own:

  • Start your day by reviewing open support tickets and prioritizing based on urgency.
  • Respond promptly to incoming support requests from end-users.
  • Utilize remote access tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues on users' devices.
  • Document solutions and update knowledge base articles for future reference.
  • Collaborate with team members for complex issues and share insights during team meetings.
  • Continuously update your skills through self-paced learning and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in IT is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic networking concepts.
