Job Summary:

As a Remote Service Planner, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting field operations by planning, dispatching, and tracking technician service routes. Your goal is to ensure optimal coverage, timely repairs, and efficient technician workflows across your assigned region. You’ll use our service planning software to monitor workloads, customer priorities, and resource availability—all from the comfort of your home.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan daily service routes for field technicians based on service requests, priority level, and location.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and customer service to understand repair needs.

  • Adjust schedules in real time due to emergencies, absences, or route delays.

  • Communicate with field techs via phone, email, or dispatch software throughout the day.

  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, time windows, and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Maintain up-to-date logs and reports of technician activity and completed jobs.

  • Identify and report gaps in coverage or recurring service issues.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required).

  • Strong computer skills; experience with scheduling software, GPS tracking, and CRM systems.

  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.

  • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced, changing environments.

  • Must have a quiet home office setup and reliable internet connection.
