About the Role
knownwell is hiring a Virtual Care Coordinator to support patients and clinicians nationwide by coordinating care from its health coaches and registered dietitians. You will triage and resolve non-clinical patient needs and keep the virtual care experience running smoothly.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate patients' health coaching and nutrition journeys with Call Center, Patient Access, and Billing teams
- Reach out to patients about insurance and payment questions, service options, and scheduling
- Manage inbound patient messages and escalate clinical questions to the right clinician
- Handle service recovery and patient communication to resolve concerns
- Run Remote Patient Monitoring enrollment and device logistics, and give real-time support during virtual visits
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years in a virtual care, patient coordination, or Medical Assistant role
- Familiarity with virtual care workflows in primary or chronic care and multi-state remote care
- Comfort with EMRs (Athena preferred), secure messaging, and remote tools
- Strong communication and organization, and the ability to work independently
Location & Pay
Fully remote in the United States. Pay $23 to $28 per hour. Full-time.
