About the Role
Avalere Health is hiring an Associate Media Planner on its US Marketing media team. You will help prepare, develop, execute, and monitor media plans for assigned clients and campaigns, help deliver internal and client work on time, and learn the processes that keep the account running day to day.
What You Will Do
- Help build media plans with planners and supervisors
- Use research to develop consumer insights, channel roles, and budget allocations
- Compile research and competitive data for the team and clients
- Learn syndicated research tools and basic media math
- Build flow charts, trafficking spreadsheets, and budget trackers
- Help with RFPs, billing discrepancies, brainstorming, and daily client requests
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in advertising, marketing, and/or communications (required)
- 0 to 1 year of media planning or buying experience (a relevant internship is a plus)
- Good with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Clear written and spoken communication
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines
Location & Pay
Remote (US); the posting also lists New York, NY. Full time, permanent. Pay is $47,000 to $55,000 a year. Benefits include a 401(k) with up to 4% match, medical, dental, and vision, 20 vacation days plus a well-being day and 9 holidays, and summer Friday early finishes.
