Research potential clients, draft personalized outreach emails, take meeting notes, and write client case studies. Prior sales or outreach experience is a plus, not a must. About the Role
Wolfjaw Studios is hiring a full-time Business Development Associate. You will spend about 75% of your time on business development, researching game, publishing, and media companies, judging whether they are a good fit, and drafting personalized outreach for review. The other 25% is team support: taking meeting notes and turning engineering project notes into polished client case studies. You will work closely with leadership and the engineering team.
What You Will Do
- Research prospective clients in games and media, including their products, news, and decision makers
- Decide whether each prospect is a good fit and write down your reasoning
- Find timely reasons to reach out and confirm them with primary sources
- Draft personalized cold emails and follow-ups, and keep the outreach tracker and CRM up to date
- Take clear notes in client and internal meetings and share action items
- Write client case studies from engineering and project notes
What You Need
- Strong writing skills for emails and longer pieces like case studies
- Strong online research skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable learning technical concepts well enough to explain them (you don't need to be an engineer)
- Written and spoken English proficiency
- Pluses: interest in the gaming industry and prior sales, marketing, recruiting, or outreach experience (internships count)
Location & Pay
Fully remote, with a hybrid option for people near Troy, NY. Remote work is currently open in these states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, ID, IL, MD, MA, MI, NV, NJ, NY, NC, ND, PA, SC, TX, VT, VA, and WA (Wolfjaw says to contact its recruiting team if your state is not listed).
