Remote accounts receivable job at SanMar applying customer payments to the right invoices. High school diploma required; credit experience is preferred but not required. Must be accurate with 10-key. Pays $18.32 to $25.00/hour depending on state, plus up to a 5% bonus.
About the Role
SanMar is hiring a remote Cash Applications Representative to process incoming customer payments, apply them to the correct invoices, resolve discrepancies, and keep accounts receivable records accurate. You will work closely with the AR team and may back up other credit department tasks.
What You Will Do
- Post and reconcile customer payments (checks, ACH, wires, EFT) to customer accounts
- Prepare payment details in Excel spreadsheets for upload into company software and MS Dynamics
- Find and fix discrepancies in payment postings
- Process customer ACH payments and refunds through the bank website following control procedures
- Give management regular updates on productivity and projects
What You Need
- High school diploma
- Credit or applications support experience preferred
- Accurate 10-key by touch
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and comfort with repetitive tasks; occasional overtime
Location & Pay
Remote. Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific; periodic travel may be required. Full time. Hourly pay by state: $20.82-$25.00 (WA, NJ); $19.05-$22.88 (MN, NV, TX, VA); $18.32-$22.00 (AZ, ID, FL, MT, OH). Annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base pay.
