About the Role
Lemonade is hiring a remote CLX Car Advocate (File Owner) to investigate and process auto property damage claims, including theft and fire, from first notice through resolution while supporting customers with clarity and care.
What You Will Do
- Investigate and process auto property damage claims in line with policy and law
- Gather police reports, records, and witness statements to determine liability
- Interview claimants and witnesses and explain coverage decisions in plain language
- Collaborate with legal counsel and other teams on complex claims
- Maintain accurate claim records and contribute to team KPIs
What You Need
- 1+ years of auto property damage claim-handling experience
- Working knowledge of insurance laws and regulations
- License in good standing, or willingness to get licensed within the first 3 months with Lemonade support
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfort working remotely
- Cannot be located in Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico, or Puerto Rico

Fully remote in the United States. Lemonade cannot consider applicants from AK, CA, CO, MT, HI, NM, or Puerto Rico. Base salary $51,000 to $58,500 plus equity and benefits. No visa sponsorship.
