What You Will Do
- Answer questions from customers, clerical staff, and insurance companies
- Handle customer collection calls and resolve patient billing complaints
- Follow up with payers to keep payments flowing
- Prepare, review, edit, and resubmit clean claims to insurance companies
- Gather the prescriptions, prior authorizations, and medical justification needed to get claims paid
- Document all account activity accurately in the company system
What You Need
- Excellent communication skills and proper phone and email etiquette
- A pleasant, helpful manner on the phone
- Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Outlook
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance HCPC/ICD codes is listed in the duties
Location & Pay
