About the Role
1bios is hiring Enrollment Specialists to reach out to patients by phone, explain its Remote Patient Monitoring and Chronic Care Management programs, answer questions, and enroll patients who want to take part. 1bios says the job is a good fit for people with a background in sales, phone outreach, healthcare, or customer service, including parents, caregivers, and semi-retired people looking for flexible remote work. It is a 1099 independent contractor position, and you can start within a few days.
What You Will Do
- Make 8-15 outbound calls an hour to eligible patients (a mix of warm leads and cold outreach)
- Use call scripts to explain the benefits of the RPM and CCM programs recommended by the patient's doctor
- Enroll interested patients by getting verbal consent and entering their information in the 1bios system
- Keep accurate records and meet productivity and enrollment goals
- Help with text and email campaigns to patients and take calls that come in from them
What You Need
- Excellent English; able to speak slowly, clearly, and kindly with elderly patients, some with hearing difficulties
- Warm, friendly, and confident on the phone for most of your shift
- Comfortable with web-based tools and systems
- Self-motivated and reliable, able to work on your own
- A quiet, private space for calls, plus reliable internet and a computer
- Able to start within a few days to a week and work at least 20 hours a week
Location & Pay
Remote, work from home. 1099 independent contractor; full-time or part-time with flexible hours (minimum 20 hours a week). Calls generally are not made on Sundays, before 9am, or after 7pm in the patient's time zone (mostly Eastern and Central). Pay is $15 an hour base plus a $5 bonus per completed enrollment; 1bios says top performers average over $30 an hour.
