About the Role
Clarity Pediatrics is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA) for a fully remote position. The MA works with the care team of physicians, nurse care coordinators, psychologists, and therapists to keep the virtual clinic running smoothly: scheduling patient appointments, gathering and organizing patient forms and records, and communicating with families and referring providers. This is a full-time contract position, listed for California, and the job requires English and Spanish.
What You Will Do
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments using the EHR and scheduling systems
- Answer families' questions about appointments and reschedule as needed
- Send reminders and do outreach to reduce no-shows
- Collect and organize intake forms and medical histories and check that patient information is complete in the EHR
- Contact referring providers to get medical records and share appointment updates
- Track referral status and follow up on open items
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, AAMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Comfortable with EHR systems and multiple tech tools
- Strong attention to detail in data entry
- Reliable internet and a dedicated workspace for remote work
Location & Pay
Fully remote position listed for California. Full-time contract, 40 hours a week to start, Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM Pacific with a 1-hour daily break, plus occasional Saturday coverage planned in advance. Pay $20 to $25 an hour plus medical and ancillary benefits (depending on location).
