About the Role
Snorkel AI is hiring a remote Operations Associate - Payments to own the day-to-day queue of payment support tickets for Expert Contributors, investigate discrepancies with SQL and spreadsheets, and resolve disputes with clear communication.
What You Will Do
- Own the payment support ticket queue for expert-facing pay issues
- Investigate discrepancies by auditing contributor data and complex bonus structures
- Resolve pay disputes and escalate sensitive cases as needed
- Build SQL queries, scripts, and payment audit dashboards to speed investigations
- Collaborate with Delivery, Operations, Finance, and Engineering on payment workflows
What You Need
- 2-3 years in customer support, payments, payroll, or finance operations
- Exposure to 1099 contractor compliance or incentive-based compensation
- SQL proficiency plus advanced Google Sheets and scripting/automation comfort
- Clear written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical teams
- Three-month contract requiring 40 hours per week
