About the Role
FastSpring is hiring a Payment Operations Specialist (Technical Operations) to support the day-to-day health of its payment system for more than 2,500 sellers. You will focus on chargeback management, KPI tracking, and issue resolution, working closely with senior team members. FastSpring describes it as an entry-to-early career role with room to grow into payments, risk, and fraud.
What You Will Do
- Help with the full chargeback process, including preparing and submitting representments
- Track chargeback volumes, win rates, and other KPIs with existing reports
- Collect supporting documents from sellers and internal teams for disputes
- Watch payment processor dashboards and alerts for problems
- Answer Tier I-II payment questions and look into settlement, refund, and dispute issues
- Help write and maintain standard operating procedures
What You Need
- 1+ year in payments operations, chargebacks, customer support operations, finance operations, or a related role
- Basic understanding of card payments and the chargeback/dispute process
- Strong attention to detail and able to follow documented processes
- Organized, with good communication skills
- Comfortable with data, dashboards, and spreadsheets
