Work-from-home customer support job with EverCommerce. Help small businesses by phone, email, and chat with card payments, deposits, and their PaySimple account. Customer support experience is a plus but not required. Pays $19 to $21 an hour.
About the Role
EverCommerce is hiring a Payments Support Associate for its EverCommerce Payments division (part of EverPro), supporting PaySimple, its payment processing product for small and mid-sized businesses. You will handle a high volume of phone, email, and chat support for merchants, help them fix payment problems, and help keep them as happy customers.
What You Will Do
- Answer merchant questions by phone, email, and chat
- Troubleshoot payment issues such as failed transactions, funding delays, chargebacks, fraud alerts, and account changes
- Spot merchants who may cancel and offer solutions to keep them
- Walk businesses through onboarding and how to use their account features
- Teach merchants payment best practices, PCI compliance, and fraud prevention
- Escalate complex disputes, risk, and compliance cases to the right team
- Keep accurate notes of every interaction in the CRM
What You Need
- Previous customer support experience (financial services, payments, banking, or fintech is a plus, but not required)
- Able to calm upset callers and find solutions
- Comfortable learning CRM and payment systems
- Strong spoken and written communication
- Able to keep up in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Discretion with sensitive financial information
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship; occasional travel to Denver or other offices may be needed
Location & Pay
Remote. EverCommerce says the role can be based anywhere in the United States (or Canada), fully remote, or in an office if you live near one. Full time.
