About the Role
Hungryroot is hiring a Systems Operations Analyst to keep its fulfillment operations running smoothly during evening hours. You will monitor the fulfillment platform and its integrations, look into issues as they come up, and be the first point of contact for fulfillment sites during the second shift. Hungryroot says you don't need to be a software engineer: you will use AI tools like Claude and Cursor to dig into problems in its Python and Django code. This is an entry-level role; new grads and early-career candidates are welcome, and internships, co-ops, and project experience count.
What You Will Do
- Monitor fulfillment systems, integrations, and site requests during evening hours
- Investigate stuck or failed orders, inventory mismatches, and shipping issues using SQL, logs, and AI tools
- Use AI-assisted coding to read the code, make small fixes, and build scripts
- Escalate complex issues with a clear summary of what happened and what you tried
- Document fixes and improve runbooks
- Help build new features, reporting, and process improvements during the day
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree (industrial engineering, computer science, supply chain, or similar)
- Some exposure to fulfillment, warehouse, or supply chain work (internships and coursework count)
- Hands-on use of AI coding tools like Claude, Cursor, or Copilot
- Working knowledge of SQL and basic Python
- Strong troubleshooting and clear communication
Location & Pay
Work remotely anywhere in the U.S. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 3 to 11pm ET (the first month is 9am to 5pm ET for training), plus being the point of contact every other weekend. Expected pay range $70,000 to $90,000 a year.
